I am in Vegas and am wondering about where you had the PPI performed. Care to share any details, as you would think you would have been made aware of those items before making the trip.

The shop that did the PPI was Gaudin Porsche. I specifically asked them on the phone about signs of paint work, amongst other things. They also missed an OBVIOUS shimmy in the steering wheel at 50mph. All I can say is that I am extremely disappointed in my dealings with them. It is a two owner car - the current owner says he is as surprised as me. I don't at this point have any reason not to believe him.

Mike - hmm... my calendar for the rest of the week just cleared up for some odd reason - lunch would be great - you can moan about missing your car, and I can whine about not having one...

Well, let this be a lesson to everyone - there is more than one way to lose money in Vegas!

Steve,

Keep you head up... the hunt is the best part. I really wished you could have had a chance to see Phatbut's C2S. Good Luck.

Gaudin is probably the worst place you could have taken the car for a PPI. There are a couple of independent shops you should have gone to. If you asked in a previous post and I missed it I am sorry that we couldn't steer you better.
