I agree with the silver. I love them, but after the response to the carerra 2 badging I didn't want to look like a poser if you know what I mean. I think silver is an awesome choice. If I did silver I know there would be a ton of posts downing it because it is not a C4. IMHO

although i am VERY biased, i think that silver calipers are the way to go with a black car
I didn't want to look like a poser if you know what I mean
as long as you don't put a "4" on your car, i don't think anyone will accuse you of tring to make your car look like something it isn't.

You don't think that would be a little poser-ish since the car is not a C4?

It's not an "S" either, but you're considering the red calipers. I personally don't think caliper color is posing (unless you use those Brembo "covers" that slip over the existing calipers like Chris Walrod posted some time ago ).

I think the silver calipers are fine and they would look awesome on a black car.

Very different than badging IMO.

My vote goes to red or yellow. I'm not much of a fan of silver. Plus silver turns light-gold after a few track days...

grungyspeed:

Good point as well. The poll is still pretty split on the yellow and red. However never gave much thought to silver until now. For some reason I am leaning to yellow, but I have lots of time calipers won't be set to powder coater for a couple of weeks. I may change my mind by then who knows. I just wanted to have this car be a touch different from Old Yeller. My hard back sport seats would look good in this car as well, but I don't think I could part with them and they really don't make the car worth anymore money. Thanks again for the comment it is something to keep in mind.

TheOtherEric:

Silver is an option but it just doesn't have the "pop" that a red or yellow does. Blackhorse is all about the looks. I would bet since it's a cab it probably won't be tracked. I wasn't aware of the silver tarnishing like that. Learn something new everyday.

Mike,

Shoot, any would look great. The car looks great. This one is going to sell fast fast fast...

In your spare time....care to do a set in silver for my car? They would look great with the Midnight blue and the MY '02 wheels...

My vote would be the Yellow calipers, what I think would really set it off is you also go with the Yellow belts. IMO

Initially I thought red, but the more I think about yellow on a black car, the more I like!

Well make sure you guys vote because it will weigh heavily in my decision.

CAHRERA:

You must know Jeff he has other projects for me to do on Blackhorse as well.

Grungyspeed:

Now silver would look good with the blue I will give you that. I send all my calipers out.

Go for the "POP" yellow rules.
Whats this "2" everyone has a problem with.
Mike I dare you to do the 2 again. You could ask everyone what color.
Boy Rennlist is fun.
Rod.
