Ok good news...
My plans for the day have been rescheduled. Due to unforseen evening plans, I am skipping concours this year. (i would have been too exhausted to handle the evening plans that I cannot miss anyways)
So that means.... RennDrive!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will meet you all at our favorite Starbucks! You know what we need though??? A sign or something. In REALLY REALLY big font. To avoid any reoccurence of wobbly vision impaired SUVs. (HAHA...but thats another story!)

Blue....since you obviously know a story behind this.....I will leave sign making to you....glad you can make it....get some of your 944 and other front engined water pumpers there if you can....it would be good if the parking was not so heavily dominated by 911's as usual...lets get this "community" going!!!

This event is looking to be very diversified. I really like seeing other older Porches like the 944's, 968's, 928's, etc. Any 356 owners coming? When it's practically all 993's there it's still great, but it's cool to see the "whole line" of Porsches together for me now. When I first came to a "Meet and Drive", it was almost all 993's, and this was good for me as my interest tended to me mostly 993's and 911's. Now that I'm older, my interests have broadened to enjoy all our cars .
So, any early 911 owners coming? How bout you stray Cayenne "S" Turbo owners with 520 HP? It's hard to believe that the highest HP Stock Porsche now is an ... SUV! To me, seeing one of those bad boys next to my 993 or a 944 would be neat.

Oops, I'm out. That's the same day as a charity tuner event at the University of Maryland.
holminator- where in Southern Maryland are you? Haven't seen many P-cars down here.

no, it's May 7th. I've tried updating the titles of all my threads, but it looks like I'll have to make some new ones, since editing the title of the head of the thread doesn't change the display title...
I have changed the info within all the threads, however.

Got room for another Cayenne? Good chance that I can make it. One of my three sons' birthdays is that weekend, and I think we are going to have his birthday party on Saturday. That would free me up for the meet on Sunday morning.
Okay if I bring the 4-year old birthday boy (who is a Porsche fan already) and possibly his 6 year old brother?
Thanks.

We've never had a problem extending welcome to anyone!
Whats even funnier is how sooo many people always made fun of the Cayenne...yet we BEG people with Cayennes to come to events! I wish we got Cayennes at the autocrosses too! I've seen one slalom fast before and it was a sight that can only be seen to be believed! Its one of the awesomest Porsches ever made in my opinion!
