david-
i sprayed the center consol switch plates, ebrake tray, and storage tray all in polar silver. It looks so great and really adds some color and brightness to my all black interior. On plastic the polar really looks more like a unique icey blue -- you should do it as the plastic pieces look like sh*t anyways.
i dont have a pic handy.

i might also spray the ignition bezel and perhaps the door handles .. basically any plastic pieces. I think this is a better choice than going with CF on these parts.

Jason -

Is that your 993 also?? If so, did you install the side marker lights yourself (I see the Euro side markers on a US car)?

I thought I was Arctic but I must be Polar (er, South Polar) - my car has a decidedly bluish push to it. I think.

The way it appears to me is that all 96 cars were polar silver and all 97 models were artic silver. However, I could be wrong. But, when I was searching for a 993, that seemed to be how it shook out.

And here comes the guy who spoils everything.

Polar silver color code is L92M

But porsche arctic silver (porsche generic color) came in two codes for the 993.

First code is L92T
Second code is L92U

AND I SWEAR THERE IS A GOOD DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO ARCTIC's

L92T is with a very very light mist of violet under sunlight and more depth (excellent after wax).
L92U is lighter and more alu, a porsche classic

Now which arctic silver have you seen or compared ?????
