Thanks for the comment Mark. They are much more supportive than the 993 hard backs. I thought I could live with them black in my Boxter red interior, but just couldn't get used to the contrast. These are the same type of sport seats that came in the 95 993.

All factory power seats are heavy
But the sport seats have the added benefit of being really comfortable and usable on the track, and look great to boot. I bet they're not more than a couple pounds heavier than the standard power seats.

Yeah, they might be heavy, but what a great compromise over the non-functional, hard back sport seats. For anyone looking for better looks than Recaro SRD's and more utility than the standard sport seats or non-folding but incredibly supportive GT3 seats, I'd say these are winners. Considering that normal 993 seats sell for about $1,000 plus shipping, these are a good deal.

I've got a set of those in my car and LOVE them! Too bad they don't make them anymore. Your seats are a little different than the 95 993 softbacks in that the stiching patterns are from an early car. No big deal, the buyer can always purchase a set of matching rear seats.
