Default technical cab top question.

I am trying to sort out the new 97 cab I recently purchased. It didn't have a cab top cover so I was able to locate one on ebay reasonably.{Hope noone was bidding against me!} My question is , on the rear of the cab top several of the male snap pieces are missing and I assume I need to snap the cab cover over these snaps to secure it. Can someone give me a part number or source for these male snap things and tell me if they just feed in from underneath the cab top or is there some trick. I read today that the temp in Buffalo is supposed to hit 50 degrees by mid May so I want to be ready.Thanx

I see the part numbers: 999-507-485-00 Push button lower part & 999-591-838-17 Push button. But these are both shown on the cab top cover. It doesn't show a part number on the actual cab top so I'm not sure if they are saying the 485 number is that piece or not. Look on you cab top cover and if it looks like the button comes in two pieces then it's probably not the part number. Probably easiest just to go to the dealer and have them figure it out, can't cost too much.

take the top to an upholstery shop, they will have the snaps and the appropriate tool for installation. there are two different kinds that are used...most are just the snap covers but IIRC there are four that are of the other type where you need to pull it to secure.
