These are Italian identical aftermarket replicas made to exact factory specifications.
As Bob said.

The weight they quote on the auction is also heavier than the stock OEM wheels (made for Porsche by BBS).

I thought only AC Cobra's and old vettes had knock offs

Seriously now, yes, Bob et al are correct (as usual), these are knock-offs. I would hold out for the real deal.

Makes me think (it hurts).........What would I be in for, converting 993 lugs to Knock offs and is that possible/ practical? Any up side down side, comments. I had 'em on an old MG back inthe mid 70s I thought they were very cool.
TIA

Talking I don't know what Bob would say, but....

you'll need a seabag full of money to pull this off. New uprights for the front and rear as well as BBS and or Speedline wheels with the single large hole. Knock off s were standard on the 993 Cup Car {The Euro Race Version of the 993}

Torque this wheels down...always fun. They require approximately 300 Lbs of torque. Most guys with the GT3 Cup Cars have a single purpose $800 SnapOn torque wrench. Its about 4 feet long.

As we all know, anything is possible if you want to spend enough money!
