Question 19" wheels too big??? C2s

I have a set of cargraphic 19"s with 315 rubber on the rear. Too big? There is rubbing but that is being fixed by rolling the fenders by S.Car.Go out in San Rafael,CA.

I'm wondering what the pro's and con's are and need advice...should I go back to 18"s?

thanks, it's been really troubling me since I got new tires. (1 wk)

Why are you worried? Keep them.

Did you have different tires with the 19"s before?

Well, I had some Yoko's AVS sports but they were the same size. I'm just wondering if these wheels are too big for this car. My friend says I should go back to OEM because of the unsprung weight. I personally like the 19"s and just wonder if there is a problem that I'm not aware of.

please chime in!!

I run 19s on the street. No problems, love the look. Enjoy them.

I also have 19"s for the streets withs 255/305 combo.... this is the closest to the OEM 18" ratio.

Oh yeah... I love the looks... I have to set of 18's for the track.

So, is there anyone else that can chime in, or do I have to take this over to the Pelican forum?

I think you should try to fit 20s.

there aren't really any pros to 19s except for the aesthetic appeal.

18s would be cheaper in the long run for tires, and there's also less risk of bending or damaging the wheels.

Either way you can't go wrong though, your car looks awesome.

I am running 19's as well on a NB. I have used both Mich Supercups in 235 and 265 as well as Mich PS2's i 235 and 275. I have some rubbing under heavy cornering.
For the track I swap to OE Cup in 17 wwith MPSC.

For me, too much weight and too much bling. But if you like it, go for it.
