Glad they were ok and the carbon fiber tub did its job............, case & point of another brainless bonehead.
This happened in KC. GT had 9 miles on the clock, owner let his son take it around the block.........at least this one can get repaired.

It looks like the engine was trying like mad to get away from the rest of the car after it separated.

Happened early this morning. I'm sure there is more to the story than just driving 150 mph. In that area it is a straight stretch of highway. They are lucky to be alive, I'm interested to see who it was driving the car?

I'd love to know how he lost it that badly on a perfectly straight stretch of highway. $650,000 for the car, but no $180 for track school?
Glad to see the tub did its job, and since this is sitting here, unattended and blocking traffic, I'd be happy to get it out of the way
