The Unichip is a piggy back computer system that ties into the existing wiring harness. TRG use to own it, but they sold the entire business. Have not seen it much recently on anything. Use to use old technology that could not even deal with the Motronic fuel map. On turbos, you had to install additional injectors in order to add more fuel.

LoL, I'm with you. My car was listed as having a "V-6 engine". PO was also ignorant of market values since I only paid KBB price.

But alas, Mr. 340 hp is asking a LOT for his little powerhouse of a car.

Even the standard 3.8 wouldn't put out 340bhp with a chip.

My previous 993 was a 3.8 and had a performance chip (tailored to my car's characteristics), plus a sports cat and muffler, and all I got was about 309 hp.
