Experience w/Autohaus West, Lake Forest, CA
I'm interested in a Porsche being sold by these guys and was wondering if anyone who has done any business with them could chime in on the experience. They are an independent dealer in Orange County, CA and have a nice selection consisting mainly of Porsches but do sell several other brands as well.

No specific info on Autohaus, but ask them if they'd be ok with a PPI performed at Hergeheimers Motorsports (a superb shop), also in Lake Forest. Whether they allow an outside PPI is one other aspect of the purchase procedure you may consider.

ED, They do not like me to do PPI's on their cars...Ira thinks my tech's are too harsh on inspections.
But we did ok last week with a Post purchase inspection last week from there. Rear tires had cords/metal showing on inside edge and coolant/oil seeping around base gaskets. Armed the customer with info and he returned with new tires and a platimum aftermarket warranty.

You can also try Pristine Motorsports in HB. Found my 95 there last year and it was a near perfect 1 owner local car for under 30k with 80k on the odo.
Owner is Dick Thorpe, great guy and normally has lot's of P cars in inventory.
no affil etc; but I am a satisfied customer
