Used to use 15W50 ages ago; switched to 0W40 years ago. NO problems.

The stinkin new formula jacked the price up. I've been paying $19 and change at Walmart for years. The price increase really Sucks! ...wonder if it correlates to the increa$e in petroleum in general, or if it really is because of the new synth formula? Oh well....

Walmart is great when they have 15w/50 in stock. Sometimes they carry 15w/50 in the 5 quart containers, making it cheaper still.

Still just under $5/quart at a K-mart in another town.

David it's too cold here for 15W50, do your lifters a favor and run 0W40. Unless you're running on the track, I wouldn't use 15w50.
