Arrow Need Help: Heater Bypass Pipe Install.

Hey guys! SO, I got the Heater Bypass pipe from Carnewal. Gert gave me a screamin' deal...so I couldn't pass it up. ANYHOW, when I was unisntalling my factory heater stuff, there was a vacuum hose of sorts that was attatched to the stock pipe, which in turn needs to be reaffixed to the RS pipe. BUT, I can't seem to find where the other end connects to. Can ANYONE help me out? It has an oval clip fitting that looks to snap in somewhere, but for the life of me, I can't find it. Here is a pic of the RS pipe I got from Gert! Does anyone have this? If so, what are your opinions of it!?!?

Perfect! THANKS! Right on top of the cap? You are AWESOME! Even with a flashlight...it was super dark down there! Has anyone installed this bypass pipe? If so I'd love to hear opinions!

It goes down on the side of the distributor body. There's an oval hole on the casting.

I'm interested in how the bypass works for you - It's on my list too.

I had a carbon fiber one with pics over on the TT board a while ago. I then thought, who needs heat (in CA) so I just blocked the part above the alternator, and got rid of the rest of the heat bits... (I still had A/C though ) alond with the heat pod off the exhaust.

BTW. If you install this, then the extra air flowing though if you have the heat off will wind up going out the valves under the car. I prefer to take as much cool air as possible, and pass it across the cylinders.

I live in Seattle where the heater is important during the winter! How much was your Carbon one? Did you sell it? I am interested if you want to sell it! OR, where can I buy one? Carbon would be very cool!

I'm pretty sure Thom still makes them, we talked a bit about them when I met him at a race last year. I had one for a while but sold it when I removed the rest of the bits to HVAC on the Turtle. IIRC, his site is vintagebus.com (or something like that).

Really?

I always though it's blocked when heat is not on (was wondering about the vents though).
I definitely need to block the whole thing then, I definitely don't want to "lose" any air from cooling the cylinders.
