Brian,
I had come across info on this as well, which spurred this thread. Turns out that I do in fact have both filters, as I did my first oil change in December. The small case-mounted filter looked original, so I think the previous owner simply went with the 30k recommended change interval. My car barely had 30k on the clock when I drove it home from Seattle.
I am interested in Bill's findings though, as mine has a fairly early build date as well - I believe 6/94.

Thanks, I remember the thread. What I really want to get to the bottom of, is do I have SAI ports. Not that it really matters, but if not, it's just one less thing to deal with.
On another note I just changed the pollen filters, makes a huge difference in the smell of the air coming in, it's actually fresh now.

Brian,
Now be honest - did you find changing the pollen filters at least mildly irritating? I did mine in December and spent hours trying to get all of the channels and tabs lined up at once. It's satisfying when it's all buttoned up again

Brian,
Regardless if you have SAI ports or not...it doesn't matter. You have a MY95, no OBDII, no SAI CEL...so even if you have SAI ports and they are glogged solid...no worries.

Back to your regularly scheduled program. SAI Ports?
