Default Credit where credit is due- Brilliant book Adrian!!

Ive just recieved my copy of Adrians book, and I think it is fantastic.
It was never going to be a glossy coffee table posing book, but rather a usefull tool to help us buy, use, or fix our favorite cars. The printing is high quality, and the binding is actually more user friendly in a garage as a soft cover. I dont even think it is expensive, especially considering the breadth of work and research that has gone into it, not to mention the size of the beast!
I'm bemused by the (quiet) reception this book has recieved so far, especially since it has filled a huge void in our libraries, and most of us have been waiting for someone to produce something like this for a long time. I think peoples frustration over the distribution over Christmas needs to be seperated from both Adrian and his work.
So thanks Adrian, I love your work!!!
Cheers Lyndon

Most of us in the USA are still waiting for our deliveries. I'm sure once we have Adrians book in our hot little hands there will be a lot of kudo's sent out his way. We've been notified and should have our copy within the week. I know the second Fed Ex delivers our copy we'll be fighting over who will get to sit down and check it out first. I'm sure it will be Robert. He's bigger than me and usually wins.....

Just got mine! Finally a REAL Porsche book! Not another glossy coffee table book of which there are plenty around, but a book with all you ever wanted to know about a 993 but were afraid to ask! Great work Adrian! As a 993 owner I can only say thanks for filling a big gap in my library!

I thought I signed up for email notification when the book was ready. No notification yet, and I can't remember where to go to order it.

Here's what I reckon all you US based Rennlisters should do .......

Club together, nominate someone, buy a return ticket to/from the UK and equip them with several large (empty) suitcases!

But seriously, I hope you begin to get your books soon - I'm sure you'll find it worth the wait. Now..... Which chapter of the book was I up to?

I checked with the publisher and they have confirmation that the stock for Amazon.com arrived and was signed for on Jan 19th. Veloce nor I can understand what is going on with Amazon in the USA, but it is out of our control.
Stock has arrived all over the world including Australia. This did not happen with the 911SC book.
Ciao,
Adrian.

PS: Thank you for the kind words, but as long as you feel that you received value for money and it is actually useful then I am happy.
Kudos is not the reason for me to write these books. I would much rather hear in 12 months time that you made your money back on the purchase with some maintenance cost savings.
