Suspension Alignment
Does anyone know of a good shop in SoCal that can do a four-wheel alignment on my 993? I'm tempted by the group buy to upgrade the suspension, but I want to make sure I have a reliable shop that knows these cars, and has the proper equipment for the kinetic toe part.

Suspension Alignment
The previous owner of my car, a Rennlist member, had this work done at Hergesheimer MotorSports in Lake Forest. He was pleased with the work. I have since taken the car there for other work and feel very comfortable recommending them. I believe they are honest and reliable. Incidentally, I am not related to anyone at the shop.

If you are willing to drive to South Bay (L.A.), I would recommend West End Alignment. The owner's name is Darren and he does all the work himself. He's done all the suspension work on my 993, Mini Cooper S and S2000 (PSS9, corner balance and alignment for all three). Does outstanding work and is very reasonable.

Just curious... how was that determined without setting up the car for corner balancing??

How are things? I took the car to Johnson's for a full 4-wheel alignment and corner balance . . . ready and willing to pay whatever they needed to get the car set just perfect. They checked everything out, set up the car for corner balancing, and then advised they did not need to do anything so far as corner balancing my car, as the install was done so nicely/perfectly. To quote the owner (forget his name??) the tech who installed your suspension really knew what he was doing. Answer to your question: Chris Walrod.
