Default Have a Bishoff style cat I can borrow?

I am in need of a 993 Bishoff style catalitic converter, if you have one and don't want to sell it, can I borrow it to make a jig for my bypass pipes? I will gladly pay for shipping both ways or whatever you need to accomodate my needs. Ebay doesn't seem to have any listings right now and I need one badly!

If Bischoff is the older one then you can borrow mine if you get desperate though shipping would cost you a bomb as I am in the UK! It would be cheaper to buy one than to ship mine. It's got to be at least $100 each way! beacuase it weighs so much!

Cheers,

David

Yes Bischoff is the older one...the flat sided triangle with oval pipe. He is needing them to make my cat bypasses, but I can't send mine as myh car is my only mode of transportation (besides my road bike and it's pouring down rain in Seattle) so I can't uninsall mine.

Yeah, get on it! I want my car to sound like the video you have provided. Also, please email me so we can discuss making me a muffler setup where I can run the RUF tips. Perhaps I will order the RUF tips and have them shipped to you so you can pre affix them to the mufflers and tack weld them on so no one steals them! Email me asap!

Chris,

You must be able to find something in the whole of the US? I'm not joking about the horrendous amounts the likes of DHL charge for transatlantic. That standard cat weighs about 28lb or something (I seem to remember from an earlier post). Look it up on the charts and multiply it by two for its return trip and you'll be sweating! Bet it weighs a hell of a lot more than a pair of your silencers! ;-)

Have you tried Porsche breakers yards?

Cheers,

David

Chris - I think I may be able to help you out and would be interested in getting a set of bypasses as part of the arrangement. I can take mine off of my car when I get home (Wednesday night) and get them shipped out to you by Friday. Please let me know what we can work out. Thanks, Rick

Chris,
The Bischoff cat that was on ebay recently is still available, but the owner wants a fortune ($750) for it. I was bidding on it, but the owner had the ebay seller pull it before the end of the auction because it wasn't getting enough action. I spoke to the seller and he said it was a shop in California that he was selling it for. If you are interested in it let me know and I'll get you the sellers name.

Thats a bit outrageous isn't it? I've seen those things go for 2 digit prices.....
I need one but not that bad! Someone must have one I can use, or buy for reasonable money.
