You need to step away from the keyboard and get your hands on one of each vehicle.

There are benefits to both and drawbacks to both. Both "tools" are great in general, although sometimes the intended use of the tool dictates which is better for that application.

all i know is that when i am on a smooth road with a sharp curve, i lift off the throttle before i enter it, slowing down a bit from the deceleration before i am in the curve, then as i turn the SW with my somewhat sweaty palms, i drop a gear, rev match and put the accelerator through the floor...the feeling of that fat *** with rear wheel drive at THAT moment is like having the had of God himself grab the back of a toy car and push it.... ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Well guys. What with all your help I am going to have to spring for a TT just to play it safe. I guess that a TT is a C4. The thing that worried me about the C2 was that I couldn't figure how such a tumble could come at non-breakneck speeds (Rassel, don't tell me they slowed this film down):

Between the C4 and C2S (or even against the lowly C2 NB), the answer is obvious: the car that is the most fun to drive is the one that you have most fun driving. There, quandary solved.
...and to paraphrase Ray C. from many moons ago, and now more recently Terry A. : get out from behind the computer and get in the car and figure it out.
...All in good fun, of course. But really, get out there and make your own decision. You don't go around polling people on flavors before you step into a Baskin Robins, do you?![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

What Edward says is true, but it's a lot easier to "test drive" the flavors at the local Baskin Robbins than to find a nice C2 and C4 right in your area to compare, so I understand the question. I had the same question when I was looking for my 993 a couple of years ago.

Jeff, that makes sense, a 911 was driving in front of him a good bit faster and didn't loose grip.
Edward. Point well taken. However I was trying to talk myself down a tree as I've been tempted to toss a deposit at a TT that is lookin' good. Sort of hoped you guys would talk me out of it and into something less outrageously expensive. But I'm going to plunk down a deposit and - if it passes the PPI - I will find out what it's like once I own it. I'd try it first, but it is 5000 miles to get there.
