Default May 1994 Delivery, Is That an Early One?

Hi,

I had some rust issues on my hood and wanted to see if I am still within the 10 year coverage limit.

When I looked at the invoice, the delivery date was May 14, 1994 (albeit this is in Germany). Is that one of the earliest 993s delivered?

Also, I did not know about the rust until August 2005. Does that mean I'm out of luck with my 10 year rust coverage?

Thanks for the education.

CP, I have a small bubble appearing on the bottom of the windshield, and my car is a '94 build also. I've been thinking of asking that same question, but I think I know the answer... probably not going to be covered

I too have a small bubble now at the bottom of the windshield, on my '94 build. And I assume it wouldn't be covered...

My car is a very ealy build: VIN ...0093 built in Feb-94. CP- what's your vin and build date?

A bunch of us chimed in on '94 build dates in this thread. Should give you some idea on how early of a build you have. Mines 3/94, haven't noticed any rust yet, although you guys have me wondering now.
