Default Brumos history

IIRC Brumos is still in business in Jacksonville. It was owned in the 70's by the famous IMSA driver Peter Gregg. I was fortunate to see him drive many times at Road Atlanta while I was a corner worker. He was the definition of smooth = fast. the race was always for second. He was always first in whatever Porsche he drove. sadly with the world in his hand; lots of success and money; he was not a happy person and commited suicide on the beach in Jacksonville.

Eric (epj993), you have never watched Daytona Rolex 24 or any of the Porsche Racing?? Ever seen the Red Bull Porsche's? Brumos and Hurley Haywood are probably the most recognized names and legendary in Porsche Racing.
Check out their site.

MY car was purchased there, and had a sticker on the windshield that said "driven by Hurley Haywood" Brumos # ... When I broke that windshield at the track, I called and asked if I could have a replacement for the new windshield. They kindly sent me one. My rear plate holder is like the one in the picture, except some of the red paint is gone. I like the look, especially rare up here ;-)
