My 6yo daughter adamantly refuses to allow me to consider any other car, even another 993 (Andial or Ruf, etc). She wants to ride in the one we have.

My 10yo daughter is 5'2" and it is tight in back for her, but she can stil do it. Se is big enough to ride up front now, though!

I swear the 6yo sleeps better back there than anywhere else.

My 9 and 6yr old daughters love the car and they have no problems sitting in the back. Although the 9yr old rather sit in the front. I sold my 85 Carrera in 2000 but back in my mind it was only temporary so I can get my 97 CarreraS.

my 3 year old sits in the back of my 97 C4S with a booster seat. He likes it although I have to keep telling him to keep his feet off of the back of the hardback sport seats!!!!

Nice car by the way. Im in NJ as well. Good luck with the sale!

The 993 is now the kids (7 and 5 year old girls) favorite mode of transportation. They think it's cool that the engine is in the back and doesn't have "kid doors". Our practical family car now sits on weekends when we all go out crammed in the little car. Now if I can get away with putting Supercups on it might be a peaceful ride if they drown out the arguing in the back seat.

I have sent you an email about your car. Let me know if it is still for sale.

i was doing the same thing (selling my 996 to buy a "practical" car <S4 Avant> but we came to terms with the 996 and it's use as a family car. Actually works pretty good with the porsche baby seat. If we go anywhere as a family we just take our Land Bruiser (my wife doesn't work right now)
considering my other cars the 996 is practically a station wagon

I drive an S4 Avant when going to work and for hauling the kids around. I still get my son out every Sunday in the TT as he loves the power delivery. If the C4S works out I am going to get rid of the Avant I think. They are great cars but it would be nice to be an all Porsche person.
