I am sorry if I was unclear; I didn't mean to imply I used the Recaro GT3 sliders. I used the generic low Recaro sliders (see http://tinyurl.com/eynh6). I am 6'2 and have plenty of room.

Can those be used with the GT3 brackets? I would guess so since my seats are say recaro right on them with the sticked Porsche logo. How tall are those sliders? I am 6'3" and need room for a helmet!

I am sorry my knowledge of the details is limited; I was not involved with the installation aside from cutting the check. I do know this: I bought the two BK brackets, these two sliders and the pair of GT3 seats. So I guess the answer is yes, they work fine.
I have three fingers or so of headroom. I have not used a helmet yet but it will be OK.

Paypal received! Cheers.
I just scheduled an appointment to deal with the squirters. Amazing. As of Saturday, the car is finished. That was too easy. What is this world coming to?

Thanks for all the good wishes. I am a bit eager for the DEs to start, but have a while to wait.
One quick Q: I had an Optima in my Teener that held a charge forever. This battery is something more normal. Do I really need a trickle charger if I use it every couple of weeks? Must I include this car in the rotating schedule of charging the bikes?

Some more fun. Since the last prior post there is now an RS strut brace, brake ducts, beige seat inserts, a black handbrake lever and Litronics.
I also dealt with some minor wear items (the harness recall, a couple of sets of PSCs, an alternator, fan belt sensor, clutch cylinder, etc).
The cat finally went back on (clear conscience required it since the car polluted hopelessly, and no, there is zero change in performance - none whatsoever) and I had a ball of a DE season. I am now in white and my then-GF (now fiancée) is in yellow. Whoo-hoo to her. I just need to stay a group ahead (or behind!) her, so we can continue to share the car.
Since the season was over I took the opportunity to have the top end done (Thanks Dan! www.hairydoggrrrage.com) with a LTFW, an RS single belt pulley, new door seals, steel lug nuts (those were long overdue, for sure), a nice powdercoated DAS roll bar and I sadly replaced my nice aluminum pedal for something better suited to heel and toeing.
I already bought OEM RS splitters and a fiberglass RS wing from Mike Shaw. Now I have to arrange for their installation, removal of the basket handle and paint. Next year, I'm hoping to celebrate making it to black by swapping for a shorter ring and pinion, or maybe simply changing to RS gearing.
Belated happys and merrys to all.
