Mille Miglia on mine. I really wanted to RUF's but agonized over the price and in the end couldn't justify it. At first, I thought the Mille's had a resonance issue just shy of cruising at 3K but after a few miles, the sound is awesome, especially in combo with the drilled airbox. Nice rumble at idle too. From previous posts, they are thought to be 2nd loudest (but still by some margin) to the Fabspeed Supercups. I still want to hear the RUF's in case anyone around me has them....

I have the vaunted yet ubiquitous Supercups. Love 'em.

Westcoast,

I had a pair of Mille Miglias that I bought from Randy M but never installed them because I got the 'Cups. I have heard that these are louder than the Maxflows. Can you post a sound clip as a data point for the Rennlist collective?

Full cargraphic system, replaced RSR's the sound is truly awesome, really deep and throaty, no resonance and records ~ 102db at the track static test, the quality of manufacture is also truly astounding, only prob is cost, but I got my 2nd user off ebay :-)

John

BTW I still have the RSR's if anyone is interested, not got round to doing anything with them (I am in the UK)

Supercups (and mine's a daily driver!). Haven't dared remove the baffles yet but love the sound with them in. Love the pops on deceleration and gear changes.

Hi John,

I'd love to hear a sound clip of your system as I have a hybrid; see signature. You were very lucky to get the complete set on Ebay.

Cheers,

David

Hi David,

I couldn't believe it, I don't often look at porsche stuff on ebay, just happened to look and there they were, they came off a guy selling his RS and reverting it to stock, they even have cargraphic big oval tips, with built in extra sound deadening (these were extra!)

I don't know how to either record or upload a sound clip, but I do go to lots of PCGB track days aso maybe see you at one of these in '06?

I also have auxillary extra mufflers which replace the tips for quiet track days, these drop the sound down to 98db and allow me on the track :-)

If you go to the Pelican Parts(no affiliation) web site they have two videos, one a 964 and the other a 993 with the maxflow mufflers.

Muffler bypasses, I loved it twice as much when I noticed I could set off the car alarm of neighbours BMW...

Best sound I've ever heard, is a 993 RS (3.8L) with muffler bypasses. It was a OMG experience.
