My copy of the Porsche 993 The Enthusiasts Companion "King of Porsche" has just arrived.
This means that the actual store copies are on their way into the system. I have no control over this system, but the book has left the printers.
Ciao,
Adrian.
Good to hear! Can't wait!

Excellent news Adrian..now of course we have to wait for it to trickle though the distribution network. Its 25 days to Christmas....I doubt if it will make it. Oh well its something to look forward to early next year!

Cheers,

I am afraid I am not the publisher nor the distributor. I find out when you guys do who has it, who is selling it and for how much. Independent authors such as myself are not part of the commercial process nor want to be quite honestly.
We write and submit the manuscript. We participate in the editing process. Once the manuscript is agreed and approved thats us finished until we receive our royalties (I am still waiting for these for my 964 book for 2005).
Everything in the middle belongs to the publisher.
I pass on what I know, but to be quite honest if I want to see if Amazon are selling my books then I go and check for myself. Check in with Barnes and Noble as well.
Ciao,
Adrian.

Thanks, Ray - that reminds me, I *have* a complete set (what, seven volumes?) of the factory 993 shop manual sitting out in my garage. Sold the Porsche about 9 months ago, need to get around to moving the books. I guess I'm posting this more to light a fire under my own @$$ - need to list it on eBay.

Rob, I would be interested in picking up those shop manuals. Send me an email if your serious about letting them go...
