993 Car Dealers in Long Island?
#2
I can recommend High Marques - www.highmarques.com - they are out in NJ, might be too far out of the way for him.
What kind of 993 is he looking for? Maybe someone on the board can help him out.

Bins,
You friend may want to contact the NY PCA Metro region. He (if not already) should join PCA, as many members live on the Island. http://www.metronypca.org/
Not sure what to restrict to dealers only, NY Times has local cars, and other regional car clubs and PCA.org.
One dealer I used several years ago was Sportique. But don't know how good they are today.
Sportique Porsche of Huntington
855 Jericho Turnpike
Huntington Station New York 11746
(631) 424-1301

Hi,
I concur with my buddies. 993's are 'hard to find cars' on Long Island.
Suggest he does the usual homework: contacts pca ny metro area -- lurks on ebay -- ny times ads -- rennlist, etc. etc.
Also, some $tealerships actually "list" their current stock online (usually a pull-down menu on their web page). Thus, suggest you go to the likes of 'carfinder.com' and do a search with e.g. 500 mile radius and then begin to narrow down your search based on mileage, price, range, model features, etc. etc.
Believe me, none of 'our' 993's just dropped in our laps one fine day -- we all had to 'wait' for the right one to make an appearance on our respective radar screens -- and often after having waited YEARS.
Just my $0.02

talk to Dean at www.aventuramotors.com (Southampton)
He does a nice job finding clean low mileage toys, 993s, TTs SLs, and others. He may still have a nice 35K mi 993 on ebay. Not sure if it sold...
I got my car from him (95 adventurine green, 20K mi)... good transaction on all fronts.

At the moment she is just thinking about it.
She is considering getting a 4 wheel drive because of the winter weather over there and prefers a coupe.
That doesnt leave many options besides a c4.
She hasnt event seen onde properly yet so thats the first thing that needs to be done.
I dont want to waste anyones time at this stage since its just a possibility.
The really important thing is that its a good reliable car without any problems.

There's a drop dead stunning guards red 95? c4 at Huntington porsche. I have nothing to do with the car or the dealer, but it really tugs at me when I drive by the dealership. They're on rt 25 east of rt 110, fyi.
