Edit: he's talking ForgeLINE, I am talking about ForgeSTAR below. Forgeline, good! Forgestar, bad!
I dig 'em. But how was the whole buying process for you? I put some Forgestars on my old Mustang but it was not a fun experience getting them (and putting up with the crap finish after waiting four months to get them, "Well, we can re-do them but it will take 6-8 weeks and can't promise they'll turn out any better."). I'd like to put another set on my 993 but I can't bring myself to give them money again..

I have bought several sets over the years and have nothing but good experiences. The quality is second to none IMHO. They are built on an individual basis to whatever spec you want. They have also made some changes in the management so quite possibly if you had an issue that individual isnt still there. I also know that if you have any issues the owner (Dave Schardt) will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy!
Edit: I was thinking Forgestar, he has Forgelines. Two totally different companies..
It was about a year ago that I ordered them, though I went through a seemingly reputable vendor. I saved a bill or two but maybe that was my problem..at the time I had been looking in to other people's experiences and at that time it seemed they were getting things sorted out. Historically I don't have particularly good luck, so there is the Travis factor to take in to consideration as well, as much as I hate to say it..

Travis, if you decide to get some, go directly through Forgeline if possible. Shoot me an email. They are local to me and the owner is a very good friend of mine so I can promise that you will have a very positive experience!!

Once again, Rennlist for the win! Sooner or later when I am ready to pull the trigger, if I decide to go with Forgestar again I will definitely be in touch!! However you might want to post some more pictures to make up for our jibber-jabber in a photo thread..that and I am surprised just how good 19's look!

GAH! Crap, you are right! I am a non-reading idiot. OK, well Forgestar remains on my ****-list then. From the small picture it looked like their CF5 wheels!
