I need some expert information these wheels came with the car. I don’t know what they are? I purchased some Tramonts prior to seeing these 1/2 way cleaned up they don’t Look too bad.
These are the sportdesign 18" wheels that were equipping the 996 GT3 MK1 in the m.y. 99, a year before, IIRC the same twheels were introduced in the tequipement program for the last m.y. of the 993, so they are not only very desirable, but also period correct.
You just have to control the front wheel channel, since they have been installed also on the 986 Boxster that had a 7,5" channel, instead of 8,0" as it was prevised for the 993 and 996 (in the front). In the rear it should be 10,0" with ET65, same as it is on the 996 GT3.
I'm far from the first to do these but I just love them. I had them powder coated a top secret (not really) color to set them off against the Grand Prix White.
