The contrasting silver petals don't look as well as these-and that is the look I craved on my '84.
Christian-- Is that ^^ similar to your decision process when considering RSR finish earlier?

I decided that the RSR finish looks great but only on lighter colored cars- that's all. Alan at Fikse also recommended a slightly less aggressive offset than the car pictured above and we both agreed on the 10" rear and I'd have to say that the fit is perfect with a 3mm front spacer to allow for caliper clearance.

I just bought a set of 18" Carrera III wheels - 8" with 57 et, 10" w 58 et. They will be on my 993 NB on which OE 18" et's are: 52 & 65.

Will I need 5mm spacers on fronts? What experience have those who are now running these wheels experienced?

Your help is appreciated.
I ran Carrera IIIs on my NB 993 before with no issues whatsoever. No spacers needed. They are great wheels...lightweight, moderately priced and easy to clean.

That's good to know. Thanks.

The "easy to clean" is key. The Targa wheels are a MAJOR PITA to clean. They will be fully detailed & bagged for show use only.

I really liked these wheels when they were introduced on the 2009 997 (I think). Was able to squeeze these under the narrow-body without rolling the fenders. Wrapped the rear tires quite tightly and of course I made sure the circumference front to back was identical for the Carrera 4 drivetrain. Dropped the car with PSS10's at the same time (+walrods,+ fister II).

Personally, I'm thrilled with the look. The dish design is actually subtly different front to back and I think it strikes a nice balance of wheel to body proportion and open space in the wheel for the 993.

G-MASA, That's a really nice wheel for the 993. The open/closed ratio on wheels is critical on dark-colored 993 cars so as not to overwhelm the lines of the body.

The rear sticks out of the fender a tiny bit, not too noticeable though
I like the Works Meister SP1.

But I think 11.5 is not too wide?

They are my next projet to my 993TT, but rear will be 10.5 x 18 et 37
