Hello everyone....just wanted to say i've just joined and in the process of purchasing a 98 c2s. I'm new to all this but have been enjoying and learning from all your discussions. I'm very xcited to be part of such a good crew!
Now to the question at hand. I spoke to the mech. who did a recent ppi on the car I'm about to purchase, he is a AE germ. Car Service mechanic in santa monica, ca. He said the car is flawless.
Unfortunately I'm in San Diego and don't know the mech. very well in the L.A. area.
Does any one out there know the reputation of this garage?

Never heard of them. The benefit of racing p-cars in socal is that you get to know all the mechanics. Consider Tony Callas in Torrance, if you want to stay local to the westside of LA (or southbay).

I am willing to bet that AE is a "foreign car specialist". My office is about 3 miles away from them. If you want me to check them out, let me know.

 

I've never heard of AE in Santa Monica. My car is currently at Foreign Sport Technicians in Santa Monica. Claudio is the wrench/owner and he's great. He also does alot for Gemballa, USA. Good Luck.
