Default Chrome set of 18" Turbo Twist Wheels for sale

Hi all,

I hope that I am listing this in the correct place, if not please let me know and I will promptly move it. I have for sale a set of Chromed Turbo Twist wheels to fit a narrow body 993. The tires have 75% tread remaining, and the wheels are in very good condition. The wheels have no curb scrapes or cuts. One of the Porsche emblems shows some delaminating, otherwise these are perfect.

I am also offering a Power Flow Kit used for approximately 1 year for a 1996 to 1998.

Also have a stainless exhaust. More info to come...

These were given to me by another Porsche enthusiast that just recently bought a 997 and no longer has the need for these.

Please e-mail or PM me if you are interested, my e-mail is tydsmith@mindspring.com

Ideally available for local pickup or actual shipping cost to be determined at time of shipping.

Price for Wheels and Tires $2000
Exhaust $500
PowerFlow $250

I don't know much about these parts but would be glad to answer any questions. Please feel free to e-mail me tydsmith@mindspring.com or PM me.

Offers for the group gladly accepted.

thanks much

Ty

Ty ... I think those are 17" 996 twist rims ... unless he wedged 17" tires on 18" rims :-)

My friend needs to sell these items and is willing to take offers.

Wheels are 17" not 18" $1800 plus actual shipping.

thanks, Ty

I don't think you will get many bids at that price. Used tires w/ 75% tread are probably worth 40-50% of new and the rims are probably worth $500-650 or less (not 18s so not bling enough and too heavy for track use). FYI I sold used 18" chromed turbo twist with minor curb rash on two of them for $1000 and I thought that was a great price for me....not much demand for chrome wheels, esp ones that are just stock..

Great catch Vic. Agree with David. Very few buyers out there at any price for these. Finding one willing to pay lots is a needle in a haystack. You will probably do better on ebay, larger market of non-enthusiasts that think chrome will improve the look of their car.

I agree with you guys.
That is why I haven't put them on my 993. Don't really like chrome and if I upgrade it will be with 18" .

What about the other parts and prices? reasonable?

Thanks for the comments. I'll let my friend know.

To be frank...those prices are far from reasonable. For the mufflers there will be little demand for those at that price...lots more interest in RSR and used Supercups which are in the ballpark of your ask price. Buyer of these mufflers will either be a newb or someone looking for a set to modify...if the latter, will prob pay $200-225 max I think. For the intake, likely that only interest will be from newbs...these don't work well in otherwise stock 993s and there is little benefit powerwise. Some have issues when they installed these - might be some takers at $100-125.

You should just ebay these and start the auction at $9.93

And what's the deal with the power flow pic with the reflection of the dude in the chrome? That's just plain disturbing. May want to get a new pic of that one before posting on ebay, never know what kind of response you'll get.

Ok, I hear you guys.

Like I said, I'm just selling for a friend. (The big guy in the reflection) The price was his suggestion. I haven't a clue what they are worth. Until now.

I was thinking of buying the mufflers just in case I felt like having a change. Glad I didn't buy them at his asking price. Thanks guys.

Sounds like this stuff is off to ebay..

Seriously thanks for your help..
