That is one beautiful car, John! If I hadn't just bought a 10-meter racing sailboat last week.... Best of luck with the sale. I am sure that you will have no problem selling it.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The car is indeed a gem, making it that much more difficult to part with it. But I'll get over it if the car goes to a solid enthusiast.

Crikes! As you know John I live 15 minutes away from you, I know your car, I've seen it a few times, I've lusted after it and dreamed about it in the deepest of sleeps, I've fantasized about driving up to my buddy's house in it one day after buying it and not saying a word about it ("Oh, that ole thing, yeah - I picked it up for a song, almost an even trade for my C4S... it's got a lot of miles... may I come in? "

But, like many others, I can't buy it right now and that's probably a good thing. I also drive in bumper to bumper traffic all day and have no business driving a TT! It's really a waste in a way. Even driving my C4S all day is kind of a waste, but a fun, manageable waste.

So, WHAT ARE YA' GETTIN for that nice family of yours? A Silver or Black Range Rover with all the goodies? A MB G55 SUV in Forest Green? A Lexus LX 470 SUV? A top of the line BMW SAV? A Porsche Cayenne TT - it's got to be the TT though, right

?

I know you loved that car and will be sad to see it go, but you'll be back in the fray one day, maybe with a 96 C4S beater like I have Great knowin' ya! Say hi to your wife from me. Congrats on starting a family. Only 18 more years till you can get another TT .
