Just read through the thread and observed that many of us avoid to some degree telling people who ask that we have a Porsche. I don't think it so much out of embarrassment but more from having people make assumptions or comments about how we manage our finances.

I do not like having to explain but that happens less often these days. I do get some grief from the other sales guys but in reality, these cars are less expensive than their $40k pick-em up trucks. So lately if someone makes a comment like I make too much money, I say it costs less than the typical truck that you all flaunt and besides...why should I buy a truck when I can rent one from Enterprise for $46 a day and then be done with it.

Of course then the my real estate comes up and they don't know what to think and they don't bug me...that works fine!
