New 993 Owner :)
#17
Congrats! Love the black 993. Seems like there are a good number of "new" 993 owners in the SoCal area recently. It may be time for a weekend Rennlist run again. Maybe something in early November?

To see the full blog, I think you need to be a member and add me as a friend.
I just reached 50K miles about 2 weeks ago. So sad...
Be sure to let me know about local events around So Cal like track days, auto cross, or any gatherings.
Cheers,
Scott

Scott,
You car looks very nice and I hope you will be just as satisfied as most of us how well built it is and what a neat feeling of minimalistic but still satisfying functionality this masterpiece is.
However (here comes the rude part!), before we embrace you as a wonderful Porsche owner, GIVE US THE DETAILS!
You said it's a 98 (wonderful choice )
How many miles?
Do you perhaps have the optioncodes? (Look at the sticker in the service book) They are easy to look up. Check under main topic General/Opt.Decoder and you will now exactly what came from the factory on your car.
Any plans on doing track day/Auto-X?
Have you perhaps had any Porsches before or maybe even left the BMW-land? (gotta love those..)
You'll find loads of information in Rennlist, just make sure to use the search function. You'd be amazed how many topics have been covered here. (I'm lousy on using search myself )
And of course, a BIG welcome to Rennlist!
