Mark,
I don't think I will be doing either race this fall. I don't know why they don't do more than one sprint race in a weekend. I agree it is silly to tow that far (especially at $3/gallon) for a 30 minute race that is usually cut short by double yellows.

Mark,
Take a look at the latest Performance Products / Automotion catalog. On page 196, they show perforated and non-perforated floor boards made from aluminum. Pretty reasonable too.

If you don't have the catalog, I can bring it with me to Command Central tomorrow.

Andreas,

Those look great except, despite the incorrect floorboard designation by PP. Unfortunately, these are actually pedal boards that go behind the pedals. The pieces I'm looking for mount directly in front of the seats and are completely horizontal.

Thanks for the lead anyway.

I got a sheet of diamond plate aluminum from the local metal supply house, traced around the mats, and cut my own. a 4x8 sheet of that stuff cost about $150.00, so go in with somebody and make several sets. you could probably get 3 sets out of 1 sheet. I've had mine about 3 years, and they do get a little scratched but still look great.

Sorry the other picture is only marginally better than the other. If you want to talk about making some let me know. I have no interior so mine run larger to cover the edges around the tub and back to the "under seat" part.

Crimson - What are you using to cut the stock and how thick is it?

Kary - Thank you!
