Does anyone make an aluminum floorboard?

Hey folks,
Like many of you, I've removed the foam padding under the floormat but now have a lumpy floor with my feet actually a bit lower than I prefer.
I called Rennline.com and was told that they are going to come out with a floorboard in the next few months. (Currently, they have a cool aluminum pedal board that replaces the plywood one behind the pedals. I'm looking for a horizontal floorboard.) Does anyone know if there's another vendor who might have a cool floorboard product?
I'd rather just pay for the floorboard and don't really have the time to fab up my own carbon-fiber honeycomb, unobtanium wonder. Plywood is out because it just doesn't look too cool to me even though I know it's easy to work with.
I also know others have used sheet metal but, again, time and a clean look are steering me to a product I can buy.
Any help would be most appreciated! As always, thanks in advance.

Mark, I have looked everywhere for one and did find something at this site: http://www.woodtrim.com/catalog_floormats.cfm. The problem is that I want a floorboard that follows the contour of the floor to get the extra space under my feet. I think I may have to have it fabricated to accomplish my goal.

Mark,
Go to a metal fab shop with a simple template of what you want. Probably won't cost you $50 to have them make two floor boards for you. I have them in my car and it certainly helps. Also the 993 race car just had a small floor board for the area directly below your pedals.

I never found any for a 993. I had actually mocked a floor board from 3lb honeycomb Nomex. I was planning to sell them, but never got around to it. You can get some cool honeycomb at http://www.avtcomposites.com/core.php3 The result is VERY cool....

It is hard to see in this photo but mine are aluminum on both side. They work well and they also have riveted supports for the areas where there are no support near the edges. really just a matter of making a cardboard template and cutting it. I know you want a clean look but this stuff just gets scratched up anyway...

Wow, great response, guys. Thanks!
Alex - Those floorboards look pretty cool. I'll give them a call. These might have to be cut to allow the eyebolts from my sub belts to clear.![Cheers](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/beerchug.gif)
Greg - Thanks for the great idea of making a smaller floorboard just for the pedals. I'll have to give that some more thought.
Bob - That stuff looks and sounds cool, but it's probably too rich for my poor blood. Thanks, anyway.
Kary - Thanks for the photo. I know they'll get scratched up pretty badly but if it's a brushed finish, it'll probably look okay. Do you have any other photos?

I know I saw a post of someone's new aluminum floorboards just the other day. I think they were Rennline.
EDIT: found it on Pelican. They were Rennline. Here are a couple of pics.

Mark,
A guy that was helping out around my mechanics shop took my plain floor boards and took them to his drill press and "turned" them. Sort of like the old machine turning you see on English cars. Looks good but I still put some big strips of grip tape for the scary moments.

Greg,
Hmmm, that would work for me. Cool, thanks!
Are you doing CMP or Roebling? I just saw that Roebling is only a sprint race with six practice, fun race and qualifying sessions but no enduro. I don't think I'm going to drive 9 hours to do a 30 minute race.
