I have a Becker Ferrari US with a Porsche CR-220 faceplate on it. This is the cassette version. It will run a CDC-3 CD player or MP3/ iPod. It is the same as the OEM CR-220 except when you turn it on the readout on the faceplate says Ferrari for a few seconds instead of Porsche. Also, the outer dials (ON, the eject button and the two *****) are backlit in green instead of orange. This is actually not bad for the 993 as it matches the green fog light switch just above the radio. The faceplate will need to be sent to Becker for the mod at a cost of $50.00. If anyone wants this radio I'll ship it to them for $50.00 (shipping is included). I have the radio's code and an online copy of the owner's manual.

My unit doesn t have the faceplate mod. It is in excellent shape. I bought it off another rennlister 1 year ago. I have now decided to upgrae to An Alpine 8355 becasue I wanted to be able to control my Ipod from teh Head unit itself, also GoodGuys in CA is going out of business so this WE I was able to pickup this $450 unit for 300.
I will remove teh CDR220 for my car tommorrow. Ppressle contacted me first so he should be getting it unless teh sale doesn t go through.
I will post an update as far as the sale as soon as I discuss this with ppressle.

Chuck W.
I'll take it for 50.00 bucks. If I can plug and play it into my car. I currently have a Cr-210 and the 6 disk changer, and I just purchased an ipod. Please let me know.
I'm assuming all I need to do is plug in the Cr-220 and when I get the ipod I can connect it directly to the Aux RC outputs of the deck. I shouldn't have to change the Chassis correct? Are the Aux RC outputs accessible with the Cr-210 Chassis? Sorry for so many questions I just want to make sure it'll work before I pull the trigger.
Thanks,
