What encourages me is the fact that the power (torque) increase was so low in the rev-range. Which is exactly where I would prefer it. Not necessarily at peak revs.

Many vendors would say, 'sure, return it for an exchange as long as YOU bought it from me.' This speaks volumes of Steve's level of service and what backing a product is all about. Kudos to Steve!!
