Default Recommended Mechanic in Southern California

New to the board and trying to get your opnions on a reputable mechanic in Orange County, CA. I had read a previous thread about a shop in the South Bay area but was looking for something a little closer to home.

Thanks in advance

Hergesheimer in Lake Forest, Haydon Bros. in Anaheim Hills... both very professional, but neither is cheap... you get what you pay for, right?

I've been going to Aase Motors in Fullerton. 714-992-2283 ask for Jeff Erickson. Very casual and straight forward.

I use Glenn Yee of Glenn Yee Motorsports in San Dimas. About 15 mins north of OC, but well worth the drive IMHO. He is very professional and takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. Not cheap, but reasonable. Be wary of some of the folks who swing wrenches on p-cars down your way. Trust your instict and don't let just anyone touch your 993! Good luck.

The PO of my 993 had the servicing done at Haydon Bros. in Anaheim Hills. After I bought the car I called and spoke to the tech to get some tips on upcoming maint and he was super nice and talked w/me on the phone for 20 minutes, even tho he knew there was virtually no chance that I'd ever take the car down there again.

Another happy customer of Aase Motors in Fullerton. It's surprisingly close to Huntington Beach, just drive north on Beach Blvd till you get to Fullerton, turn right on Commonwealth, and its a block or two past the Fullerton Airport.
