Can't agree with you there ... I've had three 3.2 Carreras and a few 993s ... the 993 is more solid in many respects. My 87 930 had more rattles than my 993s. Ironic that you mention the doors ... the door pockets are always falling off those older Carrerra doors ;-)

Watch the episode of Two and One Half Men about the red Porsche and you will purchase a 993. My C4 handles very well and fun to drive. ECU, exhaust, LWF, and airbox upgrade.

I think i would go for the 993. Boxters are too common and they drive like a go cart which sme people like but i am not a huge fan of they way they feel compared to a 911.
