This is the most unusual thread I've ever read at RL
He did say 1/4mi but what direction? horizontal or vertical? I think if he wants a 7-8sec. 1/4 mi 993, he needs to put a GE J100 afterburning engine on the roof rack!
That would really rock

Porsche on the rocks
Ain't no surprise
Pour me a drink
And I'll tell you some lies
Got nothin' to lose
So you just run the quarter mile all the time
Gave you my turbo
Gave you my supercharger
You left me alone here
With nothing to drove
Yesterday's gone
Now all I want is a too run the quartermile
First, they say they want you
How they really need you
Suddenly you find you're out there
running the quartermile in a storm
When they know they have you
Then they really have you
Nothing you can do or say
You've got to drove, just get away
We all know the song
You need what you need
You can say what you want
Not much you can do
When the fuel is gone
May be blue skies above
But it's cold when your Porsche's on the rocks
First, they say they want you
How they really need you
Suddenly you find you're out there
droving in a storm
When they know they have you
Then they really have you
Nothing you can do or say
You've got to drove, just get away

Porsche on the rocks
Ain't no surprise

BLACK MAGIC...... forget the Vortech Supercharger. If you are serious about purchasing a 993 and putting a blower on it, go for this one.

Several Rennlisters have this application and are more than satisfied. You won't get your 1/4 miles times anywhere near 7-8 seconds....but you'll be more than happy with your ability to "BURN SOME RICE"

Ahhh, what sweet poetry.
I just heard on the Mark & Brian show (radio) that there was a high school in Pennsylvania that played the Hanson bop through their loudspeaker system until they raised $3000 for the Katrina victims. It took 5 days. Pretty funny interview.
