C'était un Rendezvous - The Legend: Short Clip
I saw this film at the Ventura German Auto Show. Have you seen it? It is a 9 minute film of a car racing through the streets of Paris in the early morning. There are a lot of myths surrounding the movie. Here is a short clip. Does anyone have a longer clip?

I found a better clip. Click on the movie and it will open up. IT sounds great turned up and with headsets on! I am sure many of you have seen this but for us new guys to Rennlist, enjoy.

If you like this short movie and Claude Lelouch...try and rent "A man and a woman" (1966)...Jean-Louis Trintignant is a professional driver and there's some cool track sequences with a Ford GT40... music is great as well...by the way...

Hey Rhino...it's a classic in many ways...you'll recognize the soundtrack right away...Anouk Aimee was more than beautiful...the GT40 was fresh from the Ford's France division and Trintignant's daily driver was a 1965 Mustang...in 1986 they did the part II - 20 years after...background was the Paris-Dakar...unfortunately I could not find it on Netflix...
I'd love to find "Grand Prix" with James Garner, in DVD as well...Netflix does not have it...

Great flick but a wee bit...
spendy at $35. Regardless, I bought it anyway.
There are some naysayers that my chime in on this thread and claim the move was staged, phony, blah, blah, blah. DO NOT listen to them ...just enjoy the fantasy of driving a Ferrari through Paris at dawn....it is really great if you have a good sound system hooked up to your DVD player.

Pedro,
Grand Prix has not been released in DVD format....yet. It has played on the Speed channel, AMC, TCM. LeMans is on DVD and should be in every Porsche fan's library.
