So far good recommendatuions excaept I wouldn't tilt the seats forward (why is that recommended?).
If you do so, seat bolsters (sp?) will for sure get wrinkled during the storage.

As far as nature goes...winter is right after the hurricanes beat the s...out of us...

My winter plan is snow tires and all-weather mats. It's just a car, drive it.

Good luck with your "winterizing". Hope all goes well to keep the Batmobile safe. Don't forget to remove the Batphone from the car so you won't miss any calls from the commissioner.
To winterize mine, I need to change the suntan oil in the glove box form SPF40 to SPF20.... thanks for reminding me.

My final list ended up as:
Run A Tank Full Of Chevron Fuel Injector Cleaner (With Techron) Before Oil Change
Change Oil & Filter (every year)
Change Brake Fluid (every other year)
Change Transmission Fluid
Remove Battery And Wash Area With Baking Soda
Lubricate Battery Terminals
Clean Interior Carpet And Leather, Including Trunk Area
Condition Rubber Seals, Trim, Etc. (Aerospace 303)
Clean Convertible Top With RaggTopp
Wash Car And Engine Bay
Clean Wheels
Seal Convertible Top With RaggTopp
Wax Car (ZFX *2, Z6, Z5, Z6, Z2, Z8)
Fill Gas Tank And Add Stabil (Run Engine To Circulate Stabil Through System)
Over-Inflate Tires To 50 PSI
Park On Carpet
Cover Openings In Engine And Exhaust With Aluminum Foil
Moth ***** In Or Under The Engine Compartment (Put In Sock)
Open Doors (close to one 'click')
Plug In Cigarette Lighter Battery Charger
Release Parking Brake (Ensure In Gear)
Cover Car
Screw the Commissioner--I've been working too hard climbing up the sides of buildings. I'm not a young man anymore.
BTW, to me, it's not just a car. In fact, I wouldn't buy a 10 year old car otherwise.

Good list! Except...
Open doors? You mean not to lock them or actually open them? I'd be afraid for hinges to start sagging if you do that.
Also, I assume when you say "wash" and/or "wax", you wash & wax the door jambs and also at least wash the wheel wells, bottom of the car etc.
Good luck and remember, even though it sucks to put her away (I know from experience when I did this in Finland for my Porsche and actually still do for my little Fiat) but when the time comes to take her out after long hiatus, the first sound when the engine starts and the then the drive are awesome!
I once couldn't drive my old 911 for about 9 months or so and the frist drive... Man it felt great!

Weather...
I think it's equal everywhere. Where the weather is great, there are earthquakes, hurricanes etc. and where it's not so great there's not so many problems with nature so it levels it out.
So the for example the hurricanes and quakes are the price to pay for the summer all year round and the slushy fall/winter eather (that's the worst weather IMO, I love real winter weather but that slushy snow, water type of weather before winter sucks!) is the price to be for not having hurricanes & quakes.

I don't know if it will make a difference, but it didn't look like it could hurt.
BTW, yup, I wax the door jams and wash the wheel wells. However, I haven't yet been able to wash underneath very well. The idea was to pull the wheels off this winter and give them and the wells a good cleaning. However, Santa has to bring me that new floor jack.
