PSS9's Wow
Finally got my PSS9’s installed and I have say that it is by far the best mod you can do. The car not only looks so much better but the ride is better that I expected. I have them set in the middle of the road right now, the handling is unbelievable under steer seems gone.

Don,
Cars look great. I had the same "wow" when I put mine on, and that was two years ago! I still get goose bumps when I crank her into a corner. And if you every track it, be prepared for perma-grin
BTW, what swaybars do you have? The 22mmfront/22mmrear are superb compliments to the PSS9s, are direct bolt-ons, and inexpensive (especially if you scrounge them up used. Highly recommended

Edward, let me pick your brain here. I'll be putting HDs and H&R in and I have 4 different bars to chose from: Stock C2 20mm and 17mm and stock US Turbo 22mm and 19mm. What do I use? 20/19 or 22/19? I'll probably go with 225/255 tires.
Based on previous discussions with Viken it appears that 20/19 would be a better setup for a street car, but I'm still not sure...

Yes, I'm leaning to 20/19 at this point. If I don't like it, I can always put 22mm bar in. But something tells me that 20/19 would balance teh car better with my choice of suspension and tire.
We'll see. No time to do anything right now, damn it. Just think and plan.

Hi Mike,
Just me, but I would definitely not go with the 20mm front bar when the 22mm is readily available and little/no diff in price. Given a 22mm front, I would opt for either the 20mm rear (US M030), or even better is the 21mm from the RoW Turbo (as Kelly had referenced). I had the 22/20 and it was nice ...really. But once I replaced the rear to the 21mm, turn-in improved, understeer disappeared, and the car is absolutely neutral with my 225s/255s on OE 17" Cups. On the track, I could easily induce oversteer or understeer given driver input; very neutral and confidence inspiring and the perfect compliment to the PSS9s, IMHO. Of course one could go to more expensive adjustable sways, but I just can't justify the huge cost difference in what is essentially a street car that sees the track (as opposed to a track car that sees the street). Oh yeah, you could always do the 20/19, but then you'd probably just end up doing them again later. I'd just hold off. Hope this helps.

I put PSS9s on my 993 about three years ago and after about a year or so they started to make a racket, squeeking and popping. I added the 40mm roller bearings and the noise decreased, but did not totally stop. After a month or two it is loud again. Just a warning and a request for some help.
