My Dad used to own a number of off-shore racers. I'd have a hard time choosing!! Those things are a ton of fun--although you will spend hundreds of dollars in fuel everytime you go out.

But then again, my other vice is flying which has a sizeable hourly fun fee.

Austin - thanks for chiming in......and getting me my Motons. Just kidding!

I say Cup Car. Then when I can afford one Bob will have all the kinks worked out! How about a CupCar and a shortish Cigarette boat.

Cheers,
Andy

Bob would be bored with a boat, unless he could fit Motons to the outdrive units and cavitation plates

Cup car, all the way!!

Unless were talkin' a 44' Top Gun and he's ready to drop about half a mill. whats the point. More bang for the buck with the Cup car and at $800 per fill up with VP, alot less expensive too.

So why can you not get both? They give the houses away (I had an issue with some with the house things that caused me a lot grief over the last couple of days) down there according to California lifestyle. So a Cupcar and a dual Big Block 30+ foot boat will be a way to make the stay in FLA bearable ...

Dual Turbo Cayenne engines. Interesting......

Cigarette may be fun but where are you gonna go?? In one hour, you'll be in the Bahamas. Get there at 11... then what... roast on a beach??

Water skiing is also not much fun coz the wake is large and at 60 knots taking a spill is no longer fun BTDT. IIWM... I'd consider a Grady with twin large outboards and at least combine some fishing.

Cup car? You might enjoy more fun hours...

The Scarab is to performance boating as spec Miata is to sports car racing. If you want to go fast offshore thats not the ride. Better go cup car racing while you are doing more homework
