If this is a real concern for you, I'd avoid track days.

Pagid Orange Cost????
I buy mine from Rennlist sponsor, Group9motorsports.com They run about $200 an axle...$400 front and rear. Service from Group 9 is excellent.
Pagid pads are rarely discounted...the Pagid US Distributor sees to that!
If the track is not intensely hard on brakes...the stock pads are remarkable. At a track such as Road America with three (3) high speed straights, or Laguna Seca in Cali with some heavy braking required...I would be driving with Pagid pads...I have used Pagid Black on the front and Orange on the rear. The Blacks have a higher heat rating...
I drive with Pagids on the street too...I don't do much street driving. They work just fine in spite of what the nay sayers will tell you.

OG Racing has got PFCs for ya. They're a sponsor, and are great folks to deal with.

Mark is absolutely right on. Porsche's 993 cast-in-hole rotors develop cracks under track use ...period. But this is not the "issue" that it sounds to be. It's not like they grenade or anything. Expect fine cracks, keep an eye on them, and replace when out of spec. What rotors last forever, let alone under track use ...c'mon! Depending on your event type (DE, TT, Race), driving style, and speed (skill level) one can get a few months or a few years(!!) from a set of fronts, and even more on rears. This is more than "acceptable," it's expected. Sorry if I'm sounding a bit curt, but let's keep this "cracks-in-rotor" thing in perspective

it is true that I never saw any of those fine cracks until AFTER I started going to DE's.... my 1st set of rotors lasted me 4 years... but now I'm lucky if I get 1 year out of them with 15+ DE days a year...
...just part of the cost of the track expenses to be expected....
