Default Cassete tape holder replacement - help

My 1995 Cab has the cassete tape holder between the seats (4 slots) and it has two damaged slots...a friend once bought a replacement which has a compartment to store little things or change instead of tapes...as my car has a CD changer, I have no plans to store tapes...

I'd replace either for a new tape holder or the aftermarket change holder...keeping the damaged one is like my car was victim of bad oral hygiene and has decay teeth! :- )

Any ideas???

Pedro,

I replaced my cassette holder with the tray that a lot of the rennlisters also used.

Part no: Console cup #964.552.159.00.1DB
Rubber Insert #993.552.091.00

You'll need both pieces. It's really inexpensive to purchase and is a lot more useful.

enjoy,

-travis

Pedro,

Here's a cup holder that fits there as well.

Oh, that's nice. That would be very useful for those of us that don't have the seat rail holder.

I have both and the seat rail holder is more usefull, as the cup holder will only hold cans.

Sunset Porsche quoted $14.40 for the tray and $3.73 for the pad, plus shipping and handling. No affiliation. Their number is: (800)346-0182.

Or, you could have the best of both worlds and be able rest your right arm.

When I bought the tray from Gert the old cassette holder was out of the car in 5 minutes. As soon as I pulled it out of the car it went sailing into the trash can. And wouldn't you believe it, not three weeks later I see a cassette holder sell on eBay for like $50.

Do'h!
