Yes, but a $2.00 hockey puck will work better. (Thanks to Ray Calvo for making the suggestion several years ago).

Turns out that finding a hockey puck in the middle of summer is a challenge. The Bay Area is not exactly the hockey capital of the world..

Maybe Porsche sells one with the crest for $50??

Talking Hockey puck for sale!!!

Tom,

I have an extra one for about $25.00! Such a deal!

Thanks to Ray for the original idea...some folks put a bolt through the puck...it can make it easier to find the jack pad in dim to 0 light conditions.

Pucks can be purchased at The Sports Authority stores. My son bought one for me just last week for $1 here in suburban Philadelphia....although with 95 degrees it's not exactly hockey season around here either.

If your car is lowered, you may need to drive the car up on some wood planks to get the jack & puck under the car...
