Default oil cooler replaced- bleed air?

I just replaced the oil cooler and planned on doing an oil change right afterwords, but a buddy caught me off guard by suggesting that I might need to bleed the air out of the cooler...

Seing no built in method for doing that and remembering that the oil drains out of the cooler after shutdown, I'm leaning towards ignoring the advice. Just to be safe, what's the verdict?

No worries, your dry sump system will bleed any air. Bleeding air out of water cooled rear/mid engined, front radiator cars cars is a whole different story

Tell your buddy he's a dork.

Then go for a drive.
