Matt, I just got the car, so it came with the smudge!
Don, that eBay deal looks awesome, especially if its a leather airbag.
Zedder, if I can't do anything else, I'll try the spray.
Thanks everyopne for the ideas.

Airbag modules are classified as class 9 hazardous materials. If you ship an airbag, you are required to disclosure that fact to the carrier, complete various forms & maybe have specific labeling. You may also be required by the carrier to meet other special conditions. When you ship you specifically represent that there are no undisclosed hazardous materials in the box. If you fail to make the disclosures, you may subject yourself to civil and criminal liability, especially if it were to somehow go off.

Surflex! I did several interior vinyl pieces in surflex, and it has held up well for nearly two years. Once polished, it looks like a factory finish. It will only cost you $30 for a can. Just make sure you scuff it lightly, then wash the part REALLY well with soap and water.
Aside from the dash, all the black pieces on my interior used to be marble gray.

Steve,
i think you are missing the point. The 4spoke wheel is horrible (even if it comes from Ruf and has c-f).
Rufus deserves the 3spoke Atiwee wheel. You are better off getting this wheel either from AJusa, or FVD, or even from Ruf if you really need it to say 'ruf' on the center. I have seen this wheel avail in both leather as well as carbonfiber/leather.
Given the number of people here that have upgraded to a 3spoke wheel (did Waldo have the 3spoke wheel?), why would you want that big 4spoke wheel on your dream Ruf-turbo-R?
not trying to be rude, but just my perspective.

Steve,
I think you should just switch to the Atiwe SW, preferrably with the RUF logo. It is an outstanding wheel that feels great in you hands. The thumb-rest position is the best I have tried. The driving pleasure it delivers is well worth the expense.
Also you have one of the best RUF models around - a 993 based twin turbo, and you had a great buy-in price. As such, adding a few coins to totally enhance the driving experience and the identification with RUF is well worth the consideration.
Just my two cents.
