I have an FM transmitter for mine so that my iPod becomes a "changer" for all of my cars, regardless of head unit, although the annoyance of having to turn the backlight on at night for the iPod might convince me to fork out the extra dough for an iPod compatible head unit. (I have the ancient CDC-1 head unit!)

The sound is much better as is the reception. I also like the ***** over the rockers. It is a much much better unit. But, you have to send the face plate to Becker for a $50 fix or you can't see the readout.

Thanks Chuck. There is a CDR-210 and several CDR-220s on ebay right now and I was just wondering if the 210 was worth the extra bucks.

Thanks again!

Arrwin...Just PM'ed you. Also, the CDR-210 is the older unit with the Rockers. I think you meant is the 220 worth it. I believe so. I swapped out a CDR-210 for a CD-220. I wanted the cassette player for Books on Tape; and put a CDC-3 cd changer in the trunk.
